Accommodation & Facilities:

  • Comfortable accommodation for up to 21 guests in rooms that can mostly be configured with either double (king sized) or twin rooms. Luxury Egyptian Cotton bed linen, fluffy cotton towels and complementary toiletries included.
  • Separate tour leader accommodation in large bedroom which can sleep up to 3 people with en-suite bathroom.
  • Full catering options in spacious group dining room, sourcing many ingredients from our regeneratively managed produce gardens to offer seasonal, tasty, filling menus that both minimise food miles and reduce our intake of man-made pesticides / fertilisers.
  • Light airy games / chill-out room (9m x 5.5m) with multiple configuration options for table tennis, quiet reading / jigsaw / board games room, cinema night (projector and sound system facilities) or well-being sessions (e.g. yoga / Pilates)
  • Hot tubs, tennis court, private river frontage with wild swimming opportunities, extensive grounds for exploring including woodland and private Nature Reserve.
  • Experiences can be organised on site such as archery, watercolour & line drawing workshop, wine tasting evening, wild food foraging, stand-up paddle boarding lesson – see full list here

Travel & Transport:

  • The farm is situated on the outskirts of a small village and strikes the perfect balance of being in the depths of the Cornish countryside whilst being easy to reach by excellent rail and road connections.
  • There is space for mini-buses to park at the farm. Space for larger coaches to park is approximately 200m from accommodation and we can provide luggage transfer.
  • Direct train line from London Paddington to Plymouth (takes approximately 3 hours 30 minutes). Journey from Plymouth is approximately a 20 – 30 minute drive.
  • Bristol Airport is approximately 2 hours drive away – there is more information here about international connection options via ferry, train and air.

Plymouth

Explore the National Marine Aquarium, home to mesmerizing marine life from around the globe.

Wander through the charming Plymouth Barbican, where the historic Mayflower Steps mark the Pilgrims’ voyage to America.

Hop on a ferry to the iconic Royal William Yard, showcasing Europe’s largest collection of Grade I listed military buildings.

Round off your visit at the Tamar Bridge Visitor Centre, uncovering the story of Brunel’s engineering marvel.

Cotehele National Trust

Hop aboard the charming Tamar Valley Line train, a delightful vintage ride that offers breath-taking views as it crosses the majestic River Tamar and winds through the picturesque Tamar Valley. Arrive in Calstock, a quaint riverside village brimming with charm. Enjoy a leisurely stroll, stop for a browse in the art gallery, sti down for lunch at a cosy pub (Tamar Inn), before a walk beneath the iconic Calstock Viaduct then heading up to Cotehele, the stunning ancestral home of the Edgcumbe family.

Return to the farm in the evening to indulge in a wine-tasting experience – or a meal out at one of our recommended local restaurants, the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration!

Eden Project & Lost Gardens of Heligan

Located just an hour from the farm and only 20 minutes apart, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan offer an unforgettable experience for nature lovers, history enthusiasts, and group travelers alike. Both sites provide excellent amenities for coach groups, making them ideal for a seamless and enriching visit.

Beach day trip

Located just 30–40 minutes from the farm, the Rame Head Peninsula offers a serene getaway to experience Cornwall’s stunning coastline. Renowned for its unspoiled beauty and tranquil charm, this area is perfect for travellers looking to enjoy sandy beaches, dramatic seascapes, and engaging activities (learn to surf perhaps?). The peninsula is dotted with hidden coves and accessible beaches, making it an ideal spot for families, nature lovers, and group outings.

Bodmin / Dartmoor

The farm is within a 30 – 40 minute drive of both Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.

Add a historical detour to your journey by visiting the majestic Launceston Castle, a site rich in heritage and thrilling tales. Nestled on a hilltop overlooking the town, this Norman stronghold offers breathtaking views and a deep dive into the region’s medieval past.

Embark on a guided adventure through these mystical landscapes, a region steeped in history, myths, and unspoiled beauty. A visit to Jamaica Inn, the Smugglers pub made famous by Daphne DeMaurier, for a proper Cornish Afternoon Tea (Jam First Forever!) before heading back to the farm.
