Saltash Farmers Market – Saturday 2nd November 11am to 3pm, just 10 minutes away at our friend’s Rumbullion Farm, with produce from local growers, producers, makers and crafters.
Bonfire & Fireworks Night at Port Elliot from 4pm, food, drink, live music and a bouncy castle. Ticketed event.
Royal Williams Yard Good Food & Craft Market – first Sunday of every month (next Sunday 3rd November ’24) 10am to 3pm. Delicious food and drink to sample, savour and take home. Unique handmade goods by talented artists & makers. Fresh local produce. Unique small local businesses. Dog friendly venue. Plenty to discover and do for families in this historic Naval location.
Cheese & Wine Tasting Thursday 7th November from 7pm at Le Vignoble in Royal William Yard. Ticketed event at £30 per person. To prepare you for the big day, we are going to take you through our all-time favourite French cheeses and their wine counterparts. This pairing will have you ready and set to bring the best cheese board to your festivities! Yannick and his team are extremely knowledgeable and also great fun.
The Croft Pop Up Pub – Friday evenings, open from 4pm. Bar only but our friends from Nippy Chippy will be onsite selling first class Fish and Chips! you are welcome to eat them in the venue or take away. There will be live music once a month with local Favourite’s Angel and The Wingmen kicking us off on Friday 8th November!
Calstock Fireworks – Saturday 9th November at 8pm, always a great evening in this picturesque riverside village. Enjoy a pub supper beforehand at the delightful Tamar Inn.
Christmas Market at Harrowbarrow Village Hall – Sunday 10th November from 11.15ap to 4pm. Gorgeous Christmas gifts, decorations and treats from Tamar Valley makers and producers and raising funds for Harrowbarrow and Metherell Community Vineyard.
Wadebridge Festive Street Market – Saturday 16th November from 3pm until late. A bit further afield on the North coast but only an hour away. Arts, crafts, food, drink, street food and a great selection of independent shops.
St. Mellion Christmas Fair – Sunday 17th November from 11am. Spend the afternoon wandering around the fair, enjoy some festive nibbles and meet a whole bunch of lovely local suppliers offering a range of Christmas treats, gifts and decorations.
Wine & Raclette Night – Thursday 21st November from 7pm at Le Vignoble in Royal William Yard. Ticketed event at £30 per person. Learn about the origins, traditions and cheese-making process of raclette, followed by a tasting of wines, each chosen for their potential to be the raclette’s perfect partner.
Pencarrow House Artisan Christmas Fayre – from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th November. Entry is £3.50 per person. Father Christmas will be in attendance! Just under an hour away but worth the journey.
Christmas Garland at Cotehele – from Saturday 23rd November (until 5th January). For over 65 years the Cotehele garden team has continued the tradition to create a 60-ft long Christmas garland using thousands of flowers grown on the estate. Get into the festive spirit by seeing this year’s garland within the Great Hall. This is one of our annual Christmas activities, we go a day or two before Christmas and for us it marks the start of the festivities.
Nature Walks at Cotehele Quay – free monthly walks (next on Sunday 24th November ‘24) to learn about the ecology of the beautiful and varied Cotehele estate. Andy will lead a walk and talk of 60-90 minutes from Cotehele Quay through the amazing estate. Discover seasonal highlights, what the Rangers have been doing to care of the estate and learn about all the flora and fauna which can be found on our patch of the Tamar Valley.
Buckfast Abbey’s Christmas Market – from Thursday 28th November to Sunday 30th November. Tasty treats, festive cheer and lots of great family fun! Free to enter, the event is over three days 11am to 7pm for festive shopping and some fabulous entertainment.
Grand Christmas Wine Tasting – Thursday 28th November from 7pm. On show will be over 100 wines to sample, including new vintages and old favourites alongside new discoveries, from more-ish aperitif style wines to more serious foodie drinking delectables. A shopping event offering the perfect opportunity to discover some new wines and fill up your wine rack for the weeks ahead. Ticketed event at £15 per person.

Looe’s annual Lantern Parade & Christmas Light’s Switch On – Friday 29th November at 6.30pm. Departing from the Millpool at 6.30pm – concluding on the sea front with community carols, the light’s switch on and fireworks. Christmas shopping throughout the Town centre until 8pm
Christmas at Carnglaze – Saturday 30th November from 10am to 6pm (also 1st, 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st & the 22nd December). An illuminated Winter Wonderland underground in the lower cavern with Santa in his underground grotto. On the 14th, 15th, 21st & 22nd December the Carnglaze Christmas Craft Market is also running.

Tavistock Dickensian Evening & Christmas Lights – Friday 6th December from 5pm to 9pm. Join this annual magical late-night shopping event that transports you back in time in this lovely market town around the historic market building. There will be street entertainment, performances by local choirs, festive food & craft stalls. Lantern Parade at 5pm | Christmas light switch-on at 5:45pm.

Dartington Christmas Makers Fayre – Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th December. Just under an hour away but worth the trip. Dartington’s historic Grade 1 Listed buildings will host a wonderful weekend gathering of makers and designers from the Southwest and beyond – as well as a whole host of festive happenings for all ages! Showcasing high-quality contemporary craft and design including ceramics, printmaking, jewellery, textiles, food woodcraft and much more. Plus local choirs singing to add to the festive atmosphere.
Callington Rotary Christmas Market – Saturday 7th December from 3.30pm to 7.30pm. Lots of lovely stalls lined up selling gifts, baked goods and more. Christmas lights switch on in the evening. In collaboration with Lost Surfers Cocktail Cafe, so lots of food, drink and entertainment in abundance!
Tavistock Christmas Festival – Sunday 8th December from 10.30am. Over 70 artisan, upcycled and gift exhibitors selling a selection of jewellery, candles, gifts and many other amazing items. On offer will also be a gnome trail for the little ones, choir, live music, festive bouncy castles and yummy food!
Santa’s Grotto – at Boringdon Hall Hotel on Sunday 8th December from 1pm. Arrive and be dazzled by a dance performance, enjoy a divine Festive Afternoon Tea, get creative with Christmas activities including gingerbread decorating and meet Santa Claus himself to receive a Christmas present. Ticketed event.
Cornwall Christmas Market – Friday 13th to Sunday 15th December at Royal Cornwall Showground. Indoor arena of incredible gifts, festive food and drink, giant Christmas tree, carol singers, stages, street performers, mulled wine, reindeer and even a visit from Santa himself. Ticketed event.
Mount Edgcumbe Christmas Fair – Saturday 14th December from 10am. Over 50 quality artisan food and gift exhibitors. Discover unique and quirky gifts for that special someone, while enjoying carol singing and a variety of festive entertainment including a Santa’s Grotto and Festive Bubble Wonderland! Don’t miss a visit from the friendly local alpacas – a treat for all ages! Ticketed event, must be purchased ahead of arrival.
