26^th – Sir Francis Drake Night – comemmorate Sir Francis Drake’s birthday at the Medieval Banquet held at Boringdon Hall, Plympton, with a 3 course menu and live music.

27^th – Burns Night – celebrate the life of the Scottish bard Robert Burns with a 3 course dinner at the Langdon Court Hotel, Plymouth, arrive 7.30pm.

27^th – 31^st  – Plymouth’s Titanic Exhibition – see a fascinating selection of artefacts and memorabilia, some which have never been on display before – at the Duke of Cornwall Hotel, Plymouth.

February

4^th – Royal William Yard Good Food Market, Plymouth.

10^th – 18^th – Love Birds at the Lost Gardens of Heligan – come and meet the owls, make tasty bird treats and follow the outdoor bird trail, from 10am until 4pm.

12^th – 14^th – Bushcraft for Kids – half-term fun at Cotehele – build a shelter, light a fire and learn survival skills, for ages 7 to 15.

14^th – 31^st  –   New Dawn in Cotehele Gallery – an exhibition featuring Paul Jackson, one of Britain’s leading ceramicists.

16^th – Black Friday play Landulph Memorial Hall – come and enjoy this local band perform a lively mix of originals, covers, Irish reels and jigs, starts at 7.30pm.

17^th & 18^th – Apple Grafting weekend at Cotehele – drop in at one of the workshops to learn how to graft your own apple tree.

20^th – Paul Weller, A Kind Revolution – plays at Plymouth Pavilions 40 years after releasing his first album with The Jam.

March

11^th – Mothers’ Day at Pentillie Castle – visit the gardens between 11am and 4pm, with special afternoon teas.

11^th –  Mothers’ Day at Morwellham Quay – come and visit the award winning attraction which forms part of the National Heritage site, 4 miles from Tavistock, all mums go in free!

17^th & 18^th – Daffodil weekend at Cotehele – delight in the huge variety of daffodils across the Estate.

24^th – 31^st – Cadbury Egg Hunt at Cotehele – Easter fun for all the family following clues for prizes.

25^th – Costume Sunday at Cotehele Mill – come and meet the Mill team dressed in their Victorian costume.

28^th – Russell Brand and his stand up comedy tour at Plymouth Pavillions.

April

29^{th –}  Open Garden at Pentillie Castle – explore the 55 acre garden in its Spring finery and enjoy a cream tea in the Castle.

28^{th –}  East Cornwall Hunt’s One Day Event – See the spectacle of dressage, showjumping and cross country all on one day.

29^{th –}  Cornwall Wildlife Open Gardens at Higher Trenedden, Peakswater, nr Pelynt.

May

2^nd  – Beaver Walk with Cornwall Wildlife Trust to see what the beavers have been building including their dams and the first lodge in Cornwall in over 400 years. And hopefully get to see them at dusk

5^th  – May Day Barn Dance at Landulph Memorial Hall from 6.30pm with Maypole dancing, bar, food. Tickets are £5 (under 14’s free).

7, 10, 21, 22 & 23 – Nancy Belle boat trips – take a 2 hour ride up the River Tamar from Cotehele Quay on the 22ft Nancy Belle.

12^th  & 13^th  – Plymouth Pirate Weekend – The Barbican, Quay Square and Sutton Harbour – the Pirate weekend returns again this year with a weekend packed full of fun and pirates!

13^{th –}  Cornwall Wildlife Open Gardens at The Old Rectory, Boscastle.

16^th  – Glorious Garden Tour at Antony House, Torpoint, Cornwall – walk and talk with the team through the spectacular landscaped gardens.

20^th  – Fun Dog Show and Garden Open Day at Boconnoc Estate, Lostwithiel, from 12pm until 5pm.

20^th  – Caerhays Castle are opening their magnificent gardens and beach for a Wildlife Celebration with Cornwall Wildlife Trust inviting everyone to get up close and personal to Cornish wildlife.

26^th – 28^th  – Ragged Victorian Weekend at Morwellham – meet the ragged Victorians as they hang out at Morwellham village.

31^st –  Den building at Antony House for children

June

9^th  & 10^th  – Saltash Regatta & Waterside Festival – one of the most colourful evens held in Cornwall, with fun for all the family, includes sailing, gig racing, canoeing, swimming, live entertainment, food stalls and much more.

10^th  – Repton celebration day; guided garden tour at Antony House

16^th & 17^th  – Heligan Fun Dog Show & Heavy Horse Weekend with Heavy Horse Demonstrations and Parades, Working Dog Demonstrations, Ale, BBQ’s & a fun dog show.

17^th  – Father’s Classic Car Day at Morwellham – admire over 200 stunning vintage cars – bring your own classic car for free entry.

17^th  – Father’s Day Lunch and Jazz at Boringdon Hall nr Plymouth – celebrate Father’s Day with a traditional Sunday lunch with live jazz.

17^{th –}  Cornwall Wildlife Open Gardens at Lethytep, Lanreath.

20^th  – Glorious Garden Tour at Antony House, Torpoint, Cornwall – walk and talk with the team through the spectacular landscaped gardens.

22^nd – Autumn pudding club in The Edgcumbe; start with a bowl of soup then indulge in 4 homemade desserts created from the best of the season’s ingredients.

29^th  & 30^th – Plymouth Gin Festival try a huge variety of gins from all over the world, (including exclusive gins you won’t see anywhere else) there will be live music, great food and a gin cocktail bar.

30^th – 1^st  July – Beer, Music and Lister Festival at Morwellham – with great music, local beer and cider and the Lister Engine Rally.

15^th  – PenGrillie BBQ – the BBQ festival returns with a family fun day of food, drink and live music, 10am til 5pm.
