10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Where

Lower Marsh Farm
Lower Marsh Farm, Landulph, Saltash, Cornwall, PL12 6NG, Cornwall

Event Type

Join one of the Totally Wild UK professional foraging team to learn the ins and outs of foraging and wild food from the professionals.

This amazing site will provide us with a large mix of ingredients. From seaweeds, to coastal, inland and even garlic – an incredible spot!

After introductions you will get in to the mind set of a forager. We’ll then head out to discover the vast array of wild edibles lying all around us. Learn the do’s and don’ts of general foraging whilst picking up great tips and information on identification edibility and uses of plants, fungi and seaweeds that can be found. Whilst on the walk you will get the chance to try up to 30 pre made tasters. Everything from infusions to jams, chutneys, salt pickles, syrups, salts and herb mixes. During the walk you will harvest a range of wild ingredients for us to cook up in to a wild inspired lunch for the group to enjoy before recapping on the session.

Cookery

We cook up a range of things as a group on these courses and these are dependent on the site and season. To give you an example here are just some of the things cooked in the past:

  • Wild mushroom risotto
  • Elder berry panna cotta
  • Wild garlic pesto pasta

Tickets are £60 per person (discounts are available to Lower Marsh Farm guests – please contact us for the code). For more information and to book, please click here.
