Our atmospheric cobbled courtyard is a wonderful setting to weave into your wedding day. With two courtyards at the heart of the farm, there are lots of ways to use these spaces – from an intimate outdoor ceremony to drinks, dining and dancing.

You could also choose to get married at beautiful Landulph Church, just 200 metres from the farm at the end of the drive. It’s a lovely little country church and an easy walk from the farm – or you could make an entrance by horse-drawn carriage! Afterwards, simply drift to the farm to continue your celebrations.

The cobbled courtyard can be transformed for your celebration, while the second courtyard provides a natural wet-weather back-up. It can also become a lovely retreat during the evening – somewhere guests can escape the sun, take a breather or find a quieter corner away from the dancing.

You could choose to say your vows in the cobbled courtyard and then continue your celebrations there, or use the courtyards alongside our gardens and pool to create a natural flow throughout the day.

The walled garden, with its swimming pool, leads directly from the courtyard, giving you another beautiful setting to incorporate into your celebrations.

For larger weddings of around 100–120 guests, one option is to exchange your vows poolside, enjoy drinks in the courtyard and then move to the orchard for your wedding breakfast.

For smaller celebrations of up to around 80 guests, you have even more flexibility. A tipi or stretch tent over the courtyards can give you the wonderful feeling of being outdoors while providing welcome shade on a sunny day – and shelter should inclement weather decide to make an appearance!

The beauty of Lower Marsh Farm is that your wedding doesn’t have to happen in just one space. You can create a day that moves naturally around the farm, with each setting bringing something different to your celebration.
