You don’t need to leave your dog at home when you go on holiday, paying for kennels or sitters. Cornwall is a fabulously dog friendly place with many beaches, gardens and pubs allowing them.  Plus lots of glorious walks to enjoy with mud, puddles and sand before coming home to snore (sorry, snooze) in front of the log burner dreaming of rabbits and more.

On the farm itself, there is plenty of walking options, some of which include a dip in the river and plenty of space for stick chasing. A stroll through the woods enjoying the exciting smells of rabbits, pheasants and deer, plus an excellent stream for washing in? Or may be a walk down to the river along either a muddy track or the more civilised footpath to reach the waterfront for a bit of a paddle (or swim) followed by a good roll on the shingle beach to dry off? Dog heaven!

We are happy to accommodate 1 or 2 dogs (at an extra charge of £20 per week) and can provide a large dog bed, towels (plus a hose pipe if needed!), food and drink bowls. For those days when you want to explore without them, a great dog sitting service is available by prior arrangement in the village (with plenty of space and they will get at least 1 good walk each day).

There are plenty of dog friendly beeches nearby, including during the summer. More details can be found here. Most pubs allow dogs along with many cafes and shops welcoming four-legged customers as well.

We do have resident chickens, ducks, geese, dogs and cows so dogs do need to be well behaved and kept under control when around the animals. They will also be greeted by our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (truly believes he is a proper Springer Spaniel!) who can be persuaded during waking hours to advise on the best places to get mucky!
